Hello Rabbi. My wife uses oil free make up on shabbat but the eye liner, eye shadow and lip stick do not last. Is she allowed to use regular eye liner, eye shadow and lip stick on shabbat?
Thanks

Anything that normally doesn’t last by that particular person is fine. Use your judgment. Don’t forget, everyone has different skin, and this issue is different for each person.
Thank you for your reply. What is the particular rule regarding how long it should last. If the make up lasts for 1 day is it asur? Do the contents of the make up make a difference( ie oil or no oil?) The type she uses doesnt last and she wants to use longer lasting make up.
Mainly eye liner and lip stick that lasts typically for 2 days. Is that a problem?
if it lasts for two days, put it on before Shabbat/Yom Tov
if it comes off within 4 to 6 hours, it would be considered okay
