Hi Rabbi. My wife’s father passed away in May. Is she allowed to listen to recorded music? What are the restrictions during the year until the yartzeit? Thank you.

Sorry for your loss. Recorded music is not a problem. Avoid parties with live music, unless it is a seudat mitzvah… then it is fine.
