Hi Rabbi. I read your summary of shabbat laws under the Jewish Law section where you mention that we are allowed to shower on shabbat provided that the water heater tank system was set below 125 degrees. However, I read in shulchan aruch that we are only allowed to wash our face, hands and feet and not the entire body. Can you please help me understand the reason we would be allowed to shower on shabbat with water that is below 125 degrees?
Thank you.

When you read it in S”A, did it say anything about the degrees?
I dont recall. I remember it said cold water face hands and feet. But maybe I misunderstood.
It talks about Merchatz. Our showers are not Merchatz.
