Growing up I felt like my entire growth in judiasm came from keeping Halacha, meaning like being a “better Jew” came from keeping more Halacha. Like I wasn’t holding at the level to keep “basic” Halacha. But your Psak Halacha makes it so easy compared to our old Posek and probably most other Poskim. So, what’s judiasm really about if Halacha is actually pretty easy to keep? – Is Judaism mainly about becoming a better person, like self actualization, inner healing, and continuously building and growing our relationship with G-d?
Please let me know if I’m missing or misunderstanding anything. Thank you! 🙏
You said it well: “ Is Judaism mainly about becoming a better person, like self actualization, inner healing, and continuously building and growing our relationship with G-d?”
