- What are the Halachot around our health?
- I’ve also heard you mention in your 6th podcast episode that for our health, we should not keep a Di-oryta or Dirabanan and definitely not a Minhag. Can you explain the sources? And which health (issue) category would apply for which level of Halacha? (For example if someone has a headache it’s fine for them not to do a Minhag, but that doesn’t mean they’re exempt from a Dirabanan, at least that’s my understanding)
- Can I eat fried foods?
- Can I drink soda?
- I don’t smoke, though is it against Halacha?
If your health is at risk, you can ignore the laws that would cause that.
You should try to be healthy. Eat well and exercise.
