Hi Rabbi, please help me to better understand this concept in a practical application. If I go to the store to buy cookies and they are made with non kosher animal fat, although I am no expert, I don’t believe I would taste the animal fat. Even if I did taste the animal fat, I’m sure it would be an unpleasant taste in the cookies. Does this reasoning apply lchatchilla as the consumer/purchaser and not the manufacturer?
