I checked on Google Ai and basically all the modern food chemicals (rennet, gelatin, artificial flavors, casein, food coloring, glycerin, preservatives), regardless of their origin and if they have some flavor or enhance flavor, are inedible by themselves and not treated as food. They become edible when in combination with other ingredients. These means that chemical ingredients aren’t really a Kashrut issue as well right?
The only items that I can think of that need supervision in western civilized countries are meats and chickens, turkey, etc., certain types of aged cheeses, and some wines. Otherwise, just read the ingredients, and you’ll know what’s inside them.
if you’re not sure what something is Google it.
