I understand that with the last Hatarat Nedarim and Kol Nidre we annul our previous vows and oaths and the future ones for the year, but between us and G-d right? What about with other people?
I see people saying bli neder all the time. When is something actually considered a neder or shevua? Which language create this bindings? Because it can become OCD.
Yes, it can become OCD and it often has. Therefore, I will choose not to answer this question directly. It is barely relevant today.
Here are the basics. Any neder or commitments to God is invalid because of last year’s Yom Kippur disclaimers. Any commitments to another person should be kept, unless you’re able to explain yourself to that person and convince him/her otherwise.
