Hi Rabbi,
I heard years back that the modern dishwasher, on a heavy cycle and with “sanitize” turned on, can technically be used to kasher all flatware and dishes.
What are your thoughts on this? Can we avoid individual boiling of items just by running a dishwashing cycle?
Technically, we an add a rock to the dishwasher for extra halachic significance.

Dishes and flatware don’t need to go into boiling water?
Nope. Check out are kashering guide or Pesach guide in the Jewish Law section of this website.
No need to kasher flatware and dishes.
Kashering a pot in a dishwasher is a possibility. I’m reviewing that now. I’ll let you know once I get to the bottom of it. Officially it says מים רותחים. But there are some arguments to say it’s allowed.
