I saw a few questions about specific ingredients in dog food. Is dog food in general okay for passover? The dog food I have has cracked barley in it and based of the pesach guidelines I would think it similar to crumbs that a person would not be tempted to eat over pesach.

It is fine. Dog Food is not edible to humans, and therefore not an issue.
