Hi rabbi first I want to thank you for the Passover list this year I found it to be vital being in New Jersey not being able to get my usual groceries with all that’s going on.

secondly I’m confused why an hard boiled egg is not considered bishul Akum if it cannot be eaten raw ?

Pasta I understand cannot be eaten raw but is considered Pat Paltar

  1. You’re welcome.

Packaged foods sold in a 7/11 or supermarket etc don’t have bishul Akum concerns as there’s no personal connection to the kitchen where it’s made.

You are correct with regards to Pat Paltar.
