Shalom Rabbi, crypto and other 24/7 markets never close, so an automated trading bot left running keeps buying and selling all through Shabbat, reacting to price moves, opening and closing positions under fixed rules set up before Shabbat, while no one touches it or looks at it.

Is this like the automatic app that was permitted, since everything was arranged beforehand and no person is doing anything on Shabbat, or is the bot’s nonstop buying and selling considered business being done on Shabbat?

Does it make a difference that the specific buy/sell order may be created automatically during Shabbat itself in response to new market prices, even though the rules were programmed beforehand?
