I am attending a business meeting in a couple of weeks at a restaurant. I browsed their online menu and found the item shown in the photo. It doesn’t list all the ingredients so how can I be sure it’s kasher?
reach out to them in advance. like most restaurants, they will be happy to identify their vegetarian and vegan options for you. check them out on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/reels/CzT78iBr-Ga/
Restaurants are not required to list ingredients. With restaurants we rely on the norms of certain items, for example Chummus is normally Kosher. It is made with chickpeas, oil, tahini, and spices.
We also rely on asking “Is this vegetarian?” See our Guide to Eating Out under Resources menu above.
