Yes. If you keep a candle lit in order to get the light, that is best. If there is a pilot light, even better. If it’s not so feasible, then you can just use the regular igniter.
It’s a new oven so I hear the clicking of the pilot light when turning it on. Can I just turn it on the way I usually do?
If it is not simple to use a candle, then yes.
