Kashering kitchen during chol hamoed

I am staying by my parents for chag, and I am not sure whether I will be returning home during chol hamoed, or staying out for all of pesach. What do I need to do to kasher my kitchen before pesach and what am I allowed to do on chol hamoed?

Cleaning grill for pesach

I have a wood pellet grill/smoker.  The max temp it can reach is 465F.  I’m getting new grates for it for pesach.  Is running it at 465F good enough to kasher the walls?  We do use chametz in the grill during the year.
