Hi Rabbi, How do I kosher a cast iron skillet for pesach?
I hate to admit it, but I can never remember from year-to-year all the details involved in Pesach Kashering. I thought on your website there was a web page with a “guide” outlining the basics. I wanted to print it out to use as a reference, but I can’t seem to locate it. HELP!
I have several utensils made of silicone (as opposed to plastic). How do I Kasher them for Pesach? Or are they like plastic utensils and don’t require special Kashering for Passover? Hi Rabbi, When Koshering the oven/stove, you are not supposed to use it for 24 hours before koshering. Can you use the stove to boil water for koshering other utensils/use oven for kosher for passover food during the 24 hour period?
