My self-cleaning oven instructions specify to remove the metal racks to self clean the oven. Is there another way that I can kasher the racks if I remove them to self-clean the oven.

If you don’t cook directly on the racks, you do not need to kasher them.
If you do cook directly on the racks at times, then just put the oven on high for 20-30 minutes with the racks inside. Until it gets good and hot.
