Are dried beans (any brand with kosher cert – black, kidney, chickpea, etc) OK for Sephardim on Pesach?

Are Goya Black beans and chickpeas OK for Sephardim on Pesach?

  1. Many bags (for example, the goya black eyed peas) say “may contain soybean or wheat”
What is the ruling on that?

  2. Usually they’re fine. Check the ingredients. As long as they’re just the beans and maybe citric acid or salt or sugar etc. it’s fine.
