Can one eat canned artichokes bearing the hechsher of R A Benhamu of Peru (looks like an outline of Peru with a K in the middle)? Many kashrut agencies say that canned artichokes can never be eaten because of bugs, even when they bear a hechsher. R Benhamu’s hechsher is not on the CRC recommended list.
