Subject:  Bracha - need to wear a kipa?
Message:  Kovod Harav.
I am working this summer at a company to make some money for yeshiva in Elul. However, my boss who's jewish said i should not wear my kipa at work. I was wondering that if my head is ucovered, can i still make a Bracha at times such as Asher Yotza and Hamotzei (for lunch) and say hashem's name even if im not wearing a kipa.
Reply:  In Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim Siman 2 #6, it says not to go 4 amos without a haircovering and in Siman 91 #3 it says not to says the name of Hashem without a haircovering. To get a clearer understanding of the subject look at Ohr Yitzchok Siman 2 & 3
PS is your Jewish boss religious?
