Also, I meant in the thread 'music' "open strong emotional traits..." as crying.. just didn't want to point that out (of course not listening while I daven).
I heard that a prayer with tears is valued much more than a prayer lacking emotion?

Crying? Preparing yourself for Tefillah by bringing yourself to a crying state?
Gemara in Berachot (31A) says
"We cannot stand to pray from sadness....
but rather only from a happiness that comes from doing a Mitzvah."
This is written in the Gemara. Avoid what you hear from the streets or even from many pulpits. There are detailed laws as to the proper way to act to do the Mitzvot. Stick to the Shulchan Aruch.
