Subject:  Machine Matzah
Message:  There were many gedolim who opposed machine made matzah. R. Shlomo Kluger explained that if we had it, then the bakers woiuld lose their parnasah. R. Joseph Saul Nathanson replied that this is all fine and good, but you can't pasul kosher matzot because someone's parnasah will be affected, not to mention the fact that the machine matzot are more reliable than the hand matzot. As we all know, this is no longer a machloket and modern technology (God's gift to us) has won out. In 20 years, silk screen sefer Torahs will probably be very widespread (what will no doubt happen is one of these guys currently in the opposition will see that he can make some cash, he will get some rabbis to declare that silk screen is OK, but only when done under their supervision, and this guy will then monopolize the market and say that his version is mehadrin and you can't rely on Rabbi Abadi's sofer!)
Reply:  Sounds like it....
