Subject:  Vegetarian Restaraunt
Message:  Can I eat in a strictly vegetarian restaraunt that has no supervision? If not, what is the problem? Its just vegetables.
Reply:  If they have dairy, you need to worry about hard cheeses. If not, you still have "Bishul Akum." That means foods cooked by a non-Jew are not allowed.
Except if it is able to be eaten raw, like carrots, or if it would not be served at a king's table.
