Subject:  flavour
Message:  I once you asked why anything cooked in treif animal or chicken fat is treif, when this fat is not edible. You responded that the fat gives flavour. Wouldn't a treif flavour be the same, as it is inedible on its own but gives an end flavour to the product it is added to?
Reply:  The items that are Treif that are in products are the coloring. Treif Flavors need to be specified.
