Subject:  Dishes
Message:  Rabbi;
In your answer to Elle on dishes you state that "glass, plastic, glazed china,glazed dishes,corelle, Pyrex, Corningware, etc do not retain flavor" and do not need Koshering for Passover. So, why can't we use them for meat and milk?
Thank you.

Reply:  There is a special rule that requires us to maintain separate dishes for meat & milk as a way to remind us to eat them separately. That is besides the fact if they are Bole'ah or not.
