BTW The teshuva you sent me about cereal being Ha'adama was in a format that my computer couldn't recognize, so I wasn't able to see it.

2) FYI -- You have ruled several times that all cold breakfast cereals are ha'adama. Indeed, in Ohr Yitzchak, in response to what question to say on Rice Crispies, he wrote "In my humble opinion, it seems we say ha'adama since they are like klayot." However, I recently asked your father specifically about Rice Crispies and included a description of how they are made ( "Oven Puffing" ). His teshuva was Mezonot. ( I only asked because he wrote "In my humble opinion, it seems" otherwise I would not have brought it up. ) Just wanted to update everyone on this.

Reply:  My father says that is definitely not the case.
All cereals Ha'Adamah
