Subject:  mikveh (not a rant)
Message:  Thank you for your constant hard work on our behalf. I am supposed to go the mikveh tomorrow night. However I will be at a wedding in a different part of town (there is a mikveh there but it is not one I normally use and by the time I get there it will be late, we will be on our way back home with our young children in the car with us). Is it forbidden to postpone going to the mikveh for one night if my husband agrees to it? Alternatively, could I submerge in a standard bathtub?

Thanks again.

Reply:  It is not forbidden to postpone.
No, you cannot use a bathtub.
If you live near an ocean, lake or river of some sort that is not man made, you can use it with your husband watching your hair go under. (you can wear anything that allows water through it)
