Message:  Rabbi:

Forgive me for revisiting this question, but for the sake of practice and for the sake of learning, I still need a clarification. ("Torah hee, va'ani tzareech lekach"). Can you explain the difference between cereal which contains wheat and oats, is ground up and mixed in with sugar and other additives, and baked (or heated in another way) such that the final product becomes crunchy, and a cracker which contains wheat and oats, is ground up and mixed in with sugar and other additives, and baked (or heated in another way) such that the final product becomes crunchy? Why do you maintain that such a cereal is ha'adama while the cracker is mezonot?

Thank you for all your work. I'm a big fan of your site.
